This Universe Called Konstfack

The Degree Exhibition at Konstfack is an enormous event that is happening here and now; an exhibition that is also paradoxically about potential and anticipation. We see things, we feel options, we observe what is going on and—at the same time—we are aware that the future is defining its vocabulary in front of our eyes, ears, brains and bodies.

The 2018 edition brings the exhibition to an implosion of concentrated power. This universe called Konstfack presents itself as a series of meetings and possibilities with some starting points showing us the connections between them. The exhibition will have four main areas (craft, design, art and visual pedagogy) offering a diversity of ideas that contaminate any strict definitions. There is also a common ground for information and activities where the participants and visitors can interact as well as some “secret” spaces which will be opened to the public revealing the constant flow of creativity that is this everyday life that defines Konstfack.

Vårt universum Konstfack

Konstfacks vårutställning är en enorm tillställning som äger rum här och nu; och en utställning som, paradoxalt nog, samtidigt handlar om potential och om förväntan. Vi ser föremål, känner på alternativ, observerar allt som händer, och vet samtidigt att framtiden hela tiden definierar sin vokabulär framför våra ögon, öron, hjärnor och kroppar.

2018 års utställning utgör en implosion av koncentrerad kraft. Vårt universum Konstfack presenterar sig som en serie möten och möjligheter där några startpunkter visar på deras inbördes kopplingar. Utställningen består av fyra huvudområden (konsthantverk, design, konst och visuell pedagogik) med en sådan mångfald av idéer att strikta avgränsningar blir till en omöjlighet. Det finns även utrymme för information och aktiviteter där deltagarna kan samspela med besökare, liksom “hemliga” rum, där den konstanta kreativitet som definierar Konstfacks vardag får träda inför allmänhetens ögon.
